Mystery Surrounds ‘Missing’ ABC News Anchor

Paula Lopez, a TV news anchor for ABC News was home last night at 5:30 pm after her family called police at 10 am claiming she was missing. Her so-called ‘disappearance’ triggered a sizable search that was assisted by K-9 units and a helicopter. Grand jury says no indictment for mom in tan salon visit by daughter

A New Jersey grand jury declined to indict a mother accused of child endangerment for allegedly allowing her 5-year-old daughter to use a tanning bed, resulting in leg burns, prosecutors said Tuesday. New Jersey law bans children under 14 years old from using tanning salons.  More…

A Texas teacher allegedly encouraged high school girls to dress up in full-length Islamic burqas and then instructed the entire class that Muslim terrorists are actually freedom fighters. “We are going to work to change your perception of Islam… and we are not to call these people terrorists anymore, but freedom fighters,” the teacher said.  More…

Patty-eating bus driver costs taxpayers $100,000 in lawsuit

Bus driver Herton Reid already had a history of complaints and accidents, then while eating a Jamaican beef patty at the wheel with one hand, and maneuvering the 15-ton bus with the other, passengers complained of Reid “driving crazy.” After slamming on the brakes, one passenger was slammed to the floor, while Reid glanced down and kept eating, the surveillance video from inside the bus shows.  More…

Drew Peterson Sentenced To 38 Years For Murder, Screams, ‘I Did Not Kill Kathleen!’

“Mr. Untouchable” proved that he is not above the law after all – as Drew Peterson was sentenced to 38 years in prison Thursday for the murder of his third wife. Along with Kathleen Savio, Peterson is also suspected of killing his fourth spouse, Stacy Peterson, who disappeared in 2007 but he has not been charged with that crime yet.  More…
