‘Obit Bandit’ Broke Into Homes While Residents Attended Funerals

Police arrested a man dubbed the “obit bandit” after he allegedly broke into several homes while residents attended funerals or wakes. Plymouth resident Randy Brunelle, 35, was found guilty in 2012 of breaking into the home of a Sandwich police officer’s mother while the officer attended her funeral. He served 18 months in jail for the crime.  More…

Host kills himself after accidentally killing his best friend at birthday party

A Michigan man celebrating his birthday committed suicide moments after he accidentally killed his best friend, cops said. Zachary Woodcock invited friends over for his 21st birthday party and at some point pulled out a gun that he fired unintentionally, killing his friend, 21-year-old Richard Cody Skillman. RIP: Weather Channel founder John Coleman dies – Called ‘global warming’ a ‘hoax’

John Coleman died on Saturday. He was 83. Coleman angered many people by insisting that global warming is a hoax, died at his home in Las Vegas. His 2014 retirement capped a 60-year career during which served Coleman as the first forecaster on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” then went on to found the Weather Channel during the early days of cable television.  More…

Remains found inside giant crocodile are feared to be hiking granny

Police confirmed that human remains were located inside a crocodile captured at Queensland’s Mowbray River near in Australia. The 14-foot estuarine crocodile, which is believed to be the one involved in the death of 79-year-old Anne Cameron, was examined by a specialist on Tuesday.  More…

Student falls to her death while jumping in air for photo on cliff

A student plunged 200 feet to her death while posing for a photo at the edge of a cliff, an inquest heard. The girl had asked a stranger to take her picture but as she jumped in the air for a shot, the 23-year-old lost her footing and plummeted 200 feet from the cliff edge.  More…

Gomer’s gone: Jim Nabors Dead at 87

Jim Nabors, who starred in the massive ’60s hit, ‘Gomer Pyle,’ died Thursday. Nabors became famous as the bumbling mechanic on "The Andy Griffith Show" and then went on to do his own show, which ran for 5 years.
