This just in from the better-late-than-never department: Matt Kuchar came to his senses and has vowed to pay the caddie he stiffed three months ago in Mexico the fair wage he deserved in the first place. In a recent interview with Golf.com, caddie David Giral Ortiz said he felt he deserved $50,000 for his work, which is $79,000 less than Kuchar’s regular caddie, not the $5,000 he received from Kuchar.  More…

Colorado man fights off, kills mountain lion during trail run, suffers serious injuries

A Colorado runner was attacked Monday by a mountain lion during a trail run in the northern part of the state that resulted in puncture wounds to his face, arms, legs and back and the death of the animal. Actor Rob Lowe removed a Twitter post that poked fun at U.S. Sen. Female students sue Yale to admit women into male fraternities

Three female students at Yale University are suing the Ivy League school and nine of its male fraternities in an attempt to stop the school’s social organizations from admitting people on the basis of their gender. The women, who filed a class-action lawsuit in federal court in Connecticut on Tuesday, want to admit women to fraternities in response to alleged sexual assault, harassment and discrimination.  More…

‘Extra’ host suspended over sexual misconduct allegations

"Extra" host A.J. Calloway was suspended over the weekend after new allegations of sexual misconduct were leveled against him. Warner Brothers told The Hollywood Reporter in a statement that Calloway, who was arrested in June on a sexual assault charge that was later dropped, has been suspended as several women have come forward with new allegations.  More…
