Death at home of DB Cooper chute packer ruled a homicide

A homicide investigation has been launched after the discovery of a body in the home owned by 74-year-old Earl Cossey – the man who packed the parachutes for infamous airplane hijacker D.B. Cooper. When DB Cooper hijacked a passenger jet from Portland, Ore., to Seattle in 1971, demanding $200,000 and four parachutes, it was Cossey who packed the chutes.  More…
